Our group of about 20 came on Sunday of Western States 100 weekend to celebrate 2 great finishers in the race. There was plenty of room to sit all together and the staff was helpful and friendly. I had classic Eggs Benedict and it was really the best I've ever had for these reasons: delicious slab of ham, wonderful hollandaise and the English muffin was not soggy. It was the kind of breakfast I dream about.

Embarked on a scenic motorcycle journey along Auburn Folsom Road, culminating in a visit to Awful Annie's for breakfast. Arriving on a Saturday morning, we were promptly seated with no delay. Opting for the biscuits and gravy bowl, I found it to be both colossal and delectable, substituting ham for bacon upon hearing less-than-flattering reviews of the former. The generous portion of the dish sustained me through three breakfasts, priced at $15.99. The ambiance exuded a charmingly rustic vibe, fitting for a restaurant in Auburn, California. Our waiter impressed with his friendly demeanor, efficiency, and accuracy in taking our order, ensuring our glasses were always topped up. For anyone traversing the area and seeking a satisfying meal, I wholeheartedly endorse a visit to Awful Annie's.

First time eating at awful Annie's I ordered pancakes, bacon, potatoes, and a coffee and water. My good friend ordered the turkey croissant sandwich. Everything was so lovely so fresh so good. The server and host was wonderful. Everything was clean. Will definitely stop here again I need to try their lunch and the soup and take some shots at the bar.
